| device |
For the Adagio platform we allow 18 devices which can be either sources, sub-systems or groups thereof. |
| source |
For the Adagio platform a source is any device which provides audio or video for use in the system, either in the entire distributed system or in a single room. |
| sub-system |
A sub-system on the Adagio platform is a collection of like controls that are not AV sources. For example climate control is a sub-system. Even if you have 4 thermostats to control that is counted as a single sub-system. If you have lighting controls, security systems, access systems, pool controllers, shade controllers, each of those are sub-systems. |
